The BIG Draw with Reading Guild of Artists Monday 22 October, 10am - 3.30pm Join Reading Guild of Artists to celebrate this year’s BIG Draw Festival! The fabulous artists at the RGA will be on hand to help you adorn the Museum with artwork. Borrow a pen and pencil, pick up a board from our gallery drawing boxes and start to create your own masterpieces. No experience necessary, all welcome. Ancient Egyptian Fun Day Tuesday 23 October, 10am - 3pm  Members of the Thames Valley Ancient Egypt Society join museum staff for a fun day of activities with an Egyptian theme, inspired by some of the fantastic artifacts from the collection. HERITAGE OPEN DAYS 6-9 September & 13-16 September England’s favourite heritage festival now stretches across two weekends in September. Saturday 8 September    Victorian Schoolroom Experience in the Abbey Gateway   Meet a Victorian schoolteacher and re-learn the ‘3Rs’. A 45-minute experience for adults and children over 5 in our unique Victorian classroom, now in the brand new setting of the historic Abbey Gateway.
